Cojinetes de Fricción has been officially appointed to develop the main bearings and thrust washers for the Prince Project engines.

The Prince Project is the result of a BMW - PSA collaborative venture to develop a family of engines, scheduled to go into full-scale production by the end of 2005, with an envisaged output of approximately 1,000,000 units per year.
